Pros

30% employee discount Very Cool diverse co-workers If you can deal with the cons of this job long enough you will learn how to do a little bit of everything as time passes, maybe because you want to but mostly because you have to.

Cons

Impossible Standards No Appreciation for employee efforts Over work associates Rude Managers (some) Managers don't properly train new employees, throws them into the job and put pressure on old employees to pick up the slack of basically two people and then when things aren't done properly penalize employees for what is essentially THEIR fault.

Pros

30% discount on top of already affordable clothing interesting and sometimes nice co-workers paid and useful in other jobs training Good starting wage for a retail company. Most retailers pay way less.

Cons

This job is not for shy/introverted people. Everything is based on favoritism therefore only the suck-ups will make it far promotion wise. Upper management, management and supervisors have absolutely no respect for their employees unless you are a suck up. They also have no respect for students. They know that words part time usually attract students yet they are not willing to cooperate with you. These superiors do not want to see you get far in life or have goals. They are stuck in their positions so they want to see you get stuck in yours. Those same superiors are allowed to stand around and chat with the employees they favor and then make rude/sarcastic comments to ones who are doing their work. They will also question why you're doing a specific task if they didn't assign it to you even if another supervisor did. They automatically assume you're doing whatever you want because you're not one of the favorites and they don't like you. Management in general gossips about there employees because like I said, they have 0 respect for you. That's probably the only time they acknowledge you because majority of the time they don't even know who works there unless you're one of the favorites. You are disposable and easily replacable because the superiors have no sort of connection with their employees unless you are a favorite. H.R. is a joke. They don't care about you either. Upper management doesn't know or care who you are so you'll be called "you" instead of your name. Overall, only the kiss-ups will survive. Everyone else will be replaced eventually. This company has no ethics. They don't care about people. Most retailers have no ethical values but this one tops them all. When you sign that contract saying you acknowledge that this is an "at will" company, you're also signing saying your willingly going to accept being treated like scum.

Cons

- They amount of work they put you through is often overwhelming. - There is a dress code of all black unlike other retail stores. - Supervisors usually take advantage of given authority. - Too stressful in comparison to the amount they pay you. - Opportunities to get a raise/promotion is minimal - Must have open availability on weekends.
