Pros

The locations are convenient to Manhattanites, the other store associates were pretty nice, the music was okay. Not much else.

Cons

I've worked in retail for the past eight years and I've never seen a company treat it's employees with such little regard. The management was completely disrespectful to the staff, people were made to feel like they were worthless. Schedules were changed with as little as three hours notice. And I saw a person put in a time off request two months in advance only to have it denied the day before she was supposed to leave on vacation. Very unprofessional. And employees who were technically part time were made to work 40 hours a week or more and are not given benefits. That is disgraceful.

Pros

Actually having a job and not being flat out broke.

Cons

I don't ever go on a site and write reviews whether it's good or bad, however this one company deserves it. I thought it would be kind of me to spare people the constant frustration of working for Uniqlo. First, this is the worst company I've ever worked for....point blank. They absolutely do not care for their employees so please don't believe their motivational speech at their interviews about how wonderful and amazing it is. MOST of the managers and supervisors are EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional and unorganized. The managers are busy pleasing the General Managers and forget that those people working so hard are actually humans and not UNI-robots. The constant rules, regulations and criticism makes the work environment dreadful. There's so much gossip between employees and managers, it's high school all over again. Let's not forget, they hire you part-time to give you full time hours and not pay you your benefits, that's how they get you. Well folks, to make a long story short, choose another store to work at. UNIQLO really is not worth it.
