      Horrible company to work for

      Pros

      The friends I have made at work, they are good people.

      Cons

      Pay is bad for the work that is expected, favoritism, managers are a joke, Japanese expats do not understand labor laws, Loss and Prevention team and HR team is out to get employees fired. I have never seen such a joke of a team in LP, most of them are illiterate in English, Emails with 12 year old grammatical errors and reasoning and theories that no one ever believes, yet they pride themselves on how many employees they fire (I know because I have heard first hand)

      Pros

      Training was very good even though it was tiresome... Everything else ppl posted about is true.

      Cons

      -The energy of the supervisors an other higher ups is fake. The favoritism is definitely true. They will gossip about people in private. Some people will be out of dress code, but still allowed to work on the floor if they are one of the favorites. Higher ups can be rude sometimes when you make a mistake. Makes it hard to go for help sometimes. -Hours are cut, but new employees are hired... -Scheduling is done every week so cant make plans for next week.

      Company with a good product but terrible ethics

      Pros

      -an experience that will teach you to work hard and how to deal with people (both customers and employees) -potentially a fun environment with a great team of people -pay is above average for a retail company -if management likes you, you can grow with the company and climb the ranks -employee discount

      Cons

      -employee moral is very low -people of all levels are often stressed out or crying, usually in poor health conditions due to overworking -to be promoted you need to fit the "UNIQLO" type aka there is heavy favoritism -labor conditions are terrible, often times labor laws are broken (among other laws) -if you are salaried expect to work 10 hour days minimum (most managers work 12-15 hours a day) -most companies offer a much better benefits package -scheduling practices are a joke... the schedules are made weekly and approved last minute -work life balance is nonexistent -very high turnover ratio... for a good reason
