Pros

Laid back, no micromanagement, clean work environment, nice co-workers, certificate reimbursement.

Cons

This place is a mess. NO TRAINING! Network structuring is non-existent. Still using hardware manufactured before 2000, also running old operating systems. These outdated machines are used as access points from outside of the network with known security issues. Found numerous holes within the network that could be easily exploited, reporting them to network engineers had no effect, probably because the company is too understaffed to deal with it. Management is blunt about no raises, but expects more throughput. Never had a team meeting, not once. Moving up is considered a joke. Innovation dies here, if you want your IT career to stagnate and die, work for Unisys or a bank.

Terrible place to work

Pros

There are some nice people working at Unisys, however I noticed the best people are leaving the company. Work-life balance, most of the time

Cons

I've worked at this company for many years and I've watched it go from bad to worse. Terrible culture - the company doesn't care about its people and it shows: no promotions or career pathing, very little training, mgmt even removed coffee from the kitchen so employees have to now bring their own coffee to work - embarrassing. People don't like each other, little information flows down from the mgmt team and there are constant cost cutting initiatives and lay-offs. The company has an identity crisis and no real strategy other than to cut costs. It tried to be innovative but it's far behind the curve and is losing talent at a rapid rate. Sad place to be in.

Cons

Low Pay for what is expected of You, A Lot or ware & Tear on Your Personal Vehicle. You also receive a lot of abuse from customers who's Dell systems you support
