      Good Company searching to find it's niche and not be so diversified.

      Pros

      Unisys is a very good Company to work for. They offer Flexability, Fair Compensation and Good Benefits. They also offer an excellent learning/training network.

      Cons

      Unisys has been going through restructuring pains. We have recently brought in a new CEO and most organizations are being restructered. It is not always easy to have the most current organazational charts with the changes that are currently being made.

      Good for getting your foot in the door of IT

      Pros

      Very good training and certification opportunities. If you are looking for your A+ certification to get your foot in the door, this is a great place to start. Their continuing education is excellent and their training is diverse in thorough. Lots of opportunities to stretch your horizons into other areas of IT such as network administration and even software development. Unisys has a fun working enviornment with great people.

      Cons

      Pay could be a bit more competative. GIven the fact we are heading into 2009, the pay structure should have changed proportionaly (at least more than a 0% increase). The advertised pay for the same position on many job sites has been the same since I began in 2004. Alhtough this is the case for a lot of companies, its about time to increase pay to attract better employees.

      Pros

      Unisys possess great talented people throughout the company both in the U.S. and worldwide. Over the years Unisys has produced many wonderful products with great technology, and has captured many large customers in numerous industries and governments around the world.

      Cons

      Unfortunately rapid downsizing has been occurring and many good people in engineering have been forced out. Despite it's good products, Unisys has suffered over the years from ineffectual upper management and the inability to sell these products and establish significant market share..
