      I can only speak for the Montgomery Alabama Federal division. The Pay is comparable with others in the area and as long as the government customer is pleased with your work you will be employed. The employee morale is about average. coworkers are content and not looking for other employment. The customer is easy to support for the most part. Work hours are routine with little to no over time. If for some reason the position is removed from the contract, the local management will try to place you somewhere else within the company. If that is not possible they will work with other contract companies in the area.

      Cons

      There is little interaction with employees and management. As long as the customer is pleased with your work and your time card is submitted on time you rarely here from management. There is very little feedback and no recognition to speak of. Lateral moves are almost non existent unless it is requested by the customer. I have seen several employees unhappy in their position and ask for a transfer, but was told they couldn't because the customer doesn't approve. It is only a matter of time for these unhappy employees to find employment with another firm. In this scenario all parties loose.
