Pros

Gained Invaluable, Diverse Experience: This role was an exceptional training ground for building a wide range of practical skills. Fron the development of one's customer service and issue-handling to performing really advanced servicing of computers, printers, and telecommunications routers. The breadth of experience was significant and has been a major asset to my skill set. Investment in Training: The company frequently invests in training programs and publicly showcases narratives about employees being the "valued backbone" of their service business. On the surface, there is a stated commitment to developing staff.

Cons

Extreme Job Insecurity & Betrayal of Stated Values: This is the most critical and jarring flaw. The company's actions directly contradict its messaging. Despite the frequent talk of employees being the "backbone," there is absolutely no job security, even for regular employees. Positions can be eliminated abruptly without warning. The company shows no inclination to retain trained, valued employees by considering them for other open roles—even those they are qualified for due to the very training provided. This renders the "valued backbone" messaging empty and highlights a severe disconnect between corporate communication and operational reality. Poor Management & Leadership: My direct manager was a significant detriment. They demonstrated a profound lack of understanding of the day-to-day technical work, leading to poor delegation and a failure to connect with or advocate for staff. This disconnect made the supportive corporate messaging feel inauthentic at the team level. Zero Growth or Mobility: There is no clear path for advancement or lateral movement. The training feels less like an investment in your career and more like a means to keep you proficient in a static role. The promise of growth is not fulfilled. Impersonal and Disrespectful Offboarding: My departure epitomized the gap between words and actions. After giving my all, my final day was handled with stunning impersonality. My manager read a scripted statement about "restructuring," immediately handed me off to HR, and cut all communication. Requests for a reference were ignored. This cold, transactional treatment—especially after years of being told we were the "backbone"—felt like a profound professional betrayal.

Pros

You can work from home sometimes.

Cons

Scheduling is chaotic. Sometimes you don’t know when you are going to work next week. Management is very low quality. No growing opportunities. They make you believe the shifts rotate that you end up working all nights for weeks.
