Pros

There is flexibility to take time off for family emergencies.

Cons

Without notice your job title may change, pay remains the same however your vacation gets culled down for example from 3 weeks to 2 weeks. Upper management changes frequently...In the last four years there were a total of seven managers that I reported to, many did not even visit the office for a one to one performance evaluation. For example I was on the east coast and the manager was on the west coast. Management is clueless with what is going on in corporate and they too feel threaten by the changes going on with the constant downsizing over the last 20 years. Be sure to negotiate your salary up front otherwise you may be sorry you didn't. The company is making a big push to outsource most positions to remote overseas locations so you got to think fast in the ever changing company otherwise game over, checkmate!

Pros

The best reason to work for Unisys is to get exp to find a better job. Most agents work there for about 6-8 months just to get the exp to find a much better job.

Cons

There are so many. Management is trained to work for upper management and not the agents. Its sad that the agents are doing to work and the managers are getting the rewards and not passing it on. The benefits are horrible. It seems that the company does not want to do anything for the employess's but the ex get everything they want or need. its very sad when they tell everyone there are no raises coming but then send out a booklet to tell us how many millions the CEO made.

Toxic environment

Pros

Some managers are great and care about their teams.

Cons

You will be titled and paid below your skills and experience despite great performance and achievements for the company. Some managers are very insecure, exhibit racism and are allowed to stifle their direct reports and prevent their professional growth by gossiping and lying about them. No matter how hard you work and despite consistently high performance ratings, people are prevented from being promoted. C-suite leaders are toxic and in turn hire more toxic people who are allowed to abuse and assassinate the character of others. CEO openly disparages people based on personal biases about illness, ethnicity and physical attributes. CEO fosters a negative environment. Company is not profitable and cannot raise its stock. There is something to that which is related to the poor leadership of the company. High turnover due to poor culture, lack of professional growth and advancement; immature, school yard behavior by leaders is acceptable and runs rampant. Unisys does not treat its employees well; recent lawsuits and ethics complaints show consistent problems with discrimination.
