Pros

Overall, there are a lot of good people to work with and it is a positive environment. Managers are approachable and understanding.

Cons

The ability to move up and advance is a little more difficult. There is much variation in job roles from one department to the other.

Pros

Department is collaborative and full of energy. Managers are allowed to take on their projects and really run with it! Compensation and annual bonuses above average. Have the opportunity to work with others in different departments or on stand alone project providing a wealth of experience. UBC incorporate employees in business building and new product/idea development. There is no idea too big!

Cons

No clear pathway up the "food chain" and nepotism can be an issue. Company has great benefits, but in a virtual world opportunities to WFH would attract better talent pools.
