Pros

The pros of working at UCB was the joy of helping patient's understand their bills. The joy going home and feeling like I was able to help a patient do something that they can afford. I felt like I actually accomplished something that is good.

Cons

One of the major downsides to working for UCB was the hours. Meaning one week we had a set schedule and the next week it would change without notice. The other con was that patients spouse/parent would get upset if we could not discuss the account with them unless we had permission.
