Working at United Rentals has been a disappointing experience, primarily due to the glaring lack of appreciation for employees and the disrespectful treatment from upper management towards truck drivers. I spent 90 days with three different "trainers" one of them being there for six months. I was overtrained due to them not having a truck for me to drive in. The culture was poor and everyone was waiting for me to fail. I had to hunt down scissor lifts in the back of construction buildings just for them to be dead or some issue reading off codes. No lunch break and very demanding dispatch. The gap between management and truck drivers is massive. The ones who do nothing, get everything, while the ones who do everything, get nothing.
