Pros

Competitive compensation and good benefits. Forward looking within the equipment rental industry. Solid branding within the industry.

Cons

70+ hours week good ole boy network regarding upward mobility Micro management would be putting it lightly Aggressive pricing increases that customers constantly battle Commission structure that changes like the wind blows Competency in the HR department is little to none

Pros

Coworkers , 401k matching, overtime seasonally available for hourly employees

Cons

Your salary in the OSR position is 25k annually. Your commission is between 1-3% of the rental based on the rate you achieve. However to be competitive in your market it's rarely possible to earn more than 1%. Another disadvantage is the splitting of territories. Territories that used to have one rep now have 3. Senior reps are making less than ever. The favoritism aspect others have commented is definitely true. Your DSM and DM that you work for will make or break your career.
