Pros

Pay can be good if you are in a good territory. Decent benefits. Company Truck

Cons

Territory Based sales position. If there is work being done in your territory you could potentially do well. If there isn't, you probably won't. Nothing proprietary about what United does. You could have up to 20 competitors selling the exact same thing as you, typically at a much lower rate. Recent mergers and acquisitions have added challenges in the field for reps, often phasing out older tenured reps.
