Pros

From day 1 to over 20 years later I have always found that United Rentals is well staffed with helpful, supportive and encouraging people who are the foundation of its success and the enjoyment of my many roles here. I have always felt that there was someone who saw more in me than I saw in myself and pushed and encouraged me to be better and strive for more success.

Cons

United Rentals is a place where you achieve based on what you put in. As much as one is supported you do need to be a self starter. There is a fair amount of autonomy so if you are not disciplined you can easily fall by the wayside. However so long as you put in the work you'll achieve your goals and grow leaps and bounds beyond your expectation.

Pros

great benefits. competitive pay. great management

Cons

Not much constructive criticism. Say the position is to help become an Outside Sales Rep, but the hiring manager say you need more experience

Pros

Pay very well & culture is relaxed

Cons

You will work a ton of hours, Work life balance is not always prioritized, Some management seems like they got the position through longevity
