Pros

Pros: you work with amazing people who want to stick together.

Cons

The boss is horrible. They are rude, disrespectful, and will berate all of their employees. They constantly tell their employees to figure things out on their own, but then wants to control everything. They do not contribute to helping their employees and pretends to know everything about each position but does not. They are awful. How the board of directors has not fired them is beyond me. This company is a nonprofit so do not expect to grow in the company. Expecting a raise is also unrealistic.

Pros

Great mission, thoughtful and dedicated staff, local affiliates do amazing and impactful work.

Cons

New CEO’s management style is command and control. Severance and layoffs, with no decisions on what work to stop doing, is creating stress for all staff. I can’t think of a single colleague who has not been impacted.
