Pros

Lots to learn; you will love working there if you are a giving person. Great position to build your network.

Cons

Relatively low pay as its a nonprofit organization. Don't expect too much. Not much training opportunities for new graduates or people who are seeking for learning chances

Pros

A very respected organization with a meaningful agenda and concrete action plans. The workplace is very diverse and effectively uses that diversity to its advantage.

Cons

Work life balance can be an issue for some. Making a clear connection between the organization's overall objective and an individuals work could be difficult to make.

Pros

Great atmosphere. Good people, great cause. Overall supportive team. Great benefits and compensation. Working at United Way strengths your resume within the non profit sector. Excellent competent team.

Cons

There are jaded people that just send some negativity around. Not terrible but annoying. It's a bit top down on management structure. Can be very stressful during busy time.
