Pros

Pros : free medical insurance

Cons

Cons: You have to be in the office to pick up calls that you can do remotely. They claim that you get holiday pay but still have to work the holidays. You will also need to find your own coverage. They do QA which is basically where they take one of your calls and grade/judge you on how you can do better. The pay is awful for talking all day back to back. They even time your bathroom break so you can quickly hop on calls.

Pros

At United way of East Central Iowa, The benefits, sick time, and pto are honestly really generous and nice.

Cons

At United Way of East Central Iowa 1.) Pay is minimal, 2.) You're expected to produce excellence even when doing the job of 3 people but also expected to pump out work as if you were 3 people, 3.) work culture is disgusting there. Thrives off drama, secrets, and lies. 4.) You are not given any tools to succeed and expected to be the best. 5.) for a company that is designed to help under privileged communities, their language and actions are often classist and borderline racist. This is why they have lost 6 employees since October (4 months)
