Pros

Honestly, there were hardly there. I derived my satisfaction from training the team on the legal concepts. I was instrumental in setting up an entirely new vertical.

Cons

Tons of politics. Some really rotten apples in the senior management. Interestingly, all talented people have left since then and there are only those political people who were earlier part of BPO's are remaining there. Some of them were asked to manage lawyers and advice on legal concepts without having an iota of legal acumen. Dangerous for their client. One such person has specifically jumped between Litigation and Contracts Department when what he is actually capable of is working in some mom and pop shop.

Pros

- Workplace is nice - Most of the people are young college graduates - Good for a "just out of college" person - Work is not tedious - This place will train you good if you are looking for a career in consultancy

Cons

- Salary seems to less, when compared to the amount of work put in - Growth is slow - The annual increment in salary is less - Niche domain - Timings are a major issue, staying late is very common

Pros

I had a great direct manager who was able to parse through the chaos of the overseas management. Loved the ability to work remotely. Typical corporate work environment and politics, but was somewhat isolated by the remote working situation, at least. Pretty generous benefits compared to other places.

Cons

Terrible management structure - I at one time had a direct manager in India who was completely incompetent and had no ideas of US labor laws among many other things. I at one point had to train a direct manager who had no interest in learning. There was very little recognition of the effort and service our very small team was able to deliver.
