Pros

Fast paced collaborative environment with smart and seasoned leaders. Egos have been checked at the door. The company doesn't have time for that. Opportunity to grow and contribute to the company's success. Dynamic and stimulating

Cons

The benefits are not on par with Silicon Valley companies.

Stuck

Pros

Its an ok place to work, free snacks and leadership is accommodating at times

Cons

pay is not that competitive and they say there is room to grow but the paths aren't that obvious. Very stressful position, health insurance gets worst every year and they just changed our yearly pto accrual limit from 6 weeks to 3. They "encourage" you to take time off but you get punished for not being productive while you're out

Hi there: I'm sorry you feel "stuck" at Unitrends, since we are entering a new era of high growth with lots of opportunities for people to move ahead in their careers. Since you are a current employee you know me, and that I'm always available to talk to people about resolving their challenges -- you just need to stop by or call me. Regarding PTO, as someone who had 4 weeks per year, it is correct that you can no longer accrue up to 6 weeks -- it just isn't feasible for us as a business to continue to allow people to accrue 1.5 times their annual allotment. Also, a new law in MA has required us to move one week of PTO to a separate sick time account. Therefore, you can still accrue 3 weeks of vacation, take a week of sick time, earn 5 floating personal holidays and receive 6 paid company holidays -- the combination of which remains one of the best PTO packages in the market.
