Worked there for over a year fully remote because of Covid and they want us to go to an office 5x a week at the end of July. The commute is too long and I didn't want to spend my life in a car when this job is 100% online. Major lack of transparency at the top and huge staff turnover.

President lied to staff. Board members treated like gods, but made decisions based only on money, not the needs of students. Ignored student and faculty input. Staff worked hard to help support President's innovative ideas for the college, and we were rewarded by a decision for the college to go entirely hybrid/online, laying off 70 dedicated staff members without notice. They bought land and made poor investments, then laid off staff to balance the budget. They also allowed us to bank unused vacation time, but when they laid us off a month later, we lost all of those hours without compensation. The college used to be a great hands-on college for environmental programs, but you can't offer the same hands-on learning online. Not fair for staff or students. Don't trust them.
