You get to work with the brightest minds in the gaming industry

Cons

The company's business is in such a bad shape that we have been through 4 rounds of RIFs in the past year. The more recent one happened in Jan, 2024, with 1,800 people losing their jobs. There's no accountability among the senior management and we suffered from their poor decisions. Pay at Unity is known to be below market average.

Great offices, still some good perks (food, nice happy hours)

Cons

Reactionary leadership that changes direction on a dime. Only way to go ahead is to constantly call public attention to your own achievements. So you spend your time sizing the different projects as to how they will move your narrative forward and not really the product or team.
