Pros

Base salary was average, benefits were ok, and coworkers were great. Work life balance depends on team.

Cons

Company is doing mass layoffs due to poor financials and earnings. Some engineering team leads are difficult to work with. They are narcissistic and will patronize you. Your work may be not be impactful which will lead to you getting let go. No clear career growth, pay raises, or promotions.

Pros

OK office, nice people to work with a few exceptions.

Cons

People with no engineering experience are making engineering decisions, leading to disastrous consequences (e.g., 2 YEARS behind schedule), Garbage software cranked out by junior engineers overseen by a short little narcissist continue to result in immature, unreliable products. Pay is poor, raises are around 2% (even with >10% inflation), bonuses are virtually nonexistent, the VPs awarded themselves 100k bonuses as a reward for dropping the stock price (and besides, $300k/year is hard to live on), and Paul gave himself $500k because he had trouble living off $850k/year.
