Pros

Most of the employees are great people.

Cons

They will try to get you saying their benefits are great they are actually crap. Their compensation is about 70% compared to average Hours are demanding for nothing in return If you don't do something exactly how you're told you might as well have done nothing Management will waste you for every ounce of life you have left They will try to trap you, in any way they can so you can't leave.

We agree that we have a team with great people- they are the key to our success each day. We work hard to provide a great employee experience and are fortunate our leadership sincerely cares about the well being of our employees. We are sorry to hear you didn't feel that in your time with us. We will listen to your feedback and review any improvements we can make.

Pros

Some enjoyable people, and no shortage of busy work if you're into that. The tasks are varied.

Cons

Absurd levels of micromanagement; you will be asked why your bathroom breaks are taking so long before the end of your first month if you take more than one a day. Management relies on intimidation and suffocates productivity as a result. Did not wish to come to work any day of which I had the displeasure to work for the company. Upon leaving, management has zero respect and gaslights you into taking no responsibility for a poor job done on their end. As far as tech goes, was using CAD programs a decade old (2010 if I recall correct, from a few years back) due to hesitation to pay any costs. This cheapness runs deep, as the CEO uses the company storage for his own personal belongings. Heed your gut. A place that hangs a banner across their building proudly proclaiming they're accepting all positions likely isn't a place to broaden your career in any useful way. You'll find a new job within 3 months and be glad you did.

Pros

Office atmosphere is great and everyone currently employed at UPC is very helpful. Manufacturing planning has improved greatly in the last few months and we are delivering products to our customers ahead of schedule. We develop products in a few days, make prototypes, present to customers and deliver production runs within a few weeks. Very fun, challenging and educational! We design and have many manufacturing processes right under our roof!

Cons

Growing company requiring software and some equipment upgrades. Very sensitive customer timelines.

Thank you for your feedback! Being a small, family owned company we definitely have an atmosphere where our team members want to help each other succeed. Our environment is fast paced and exciting, where the team gets to see many different designs and products each week- things never get boring! Without the hard work and collaboration from all our employees, we wouldn't be able to succeed and deliver for our customers. We agree that accountability is key in ensuring we have a high performing team.
