Pros

This is a great company to work for if you need a second chance(Felon or criminal past). Also great starting pay on the production line. Extremely easy and repetitive work. Great third shift option for those attending school.

Cons

The company does not care for there employees at all. There is no room for growth. This is a cold storage processing facility. They do not have an orientation for new employees. So you will not know the rules, policies, standards, mission, or what they actually do at the facility. My first day they never explained how cold it was or what you should wear. Management keeps hand warmers for themselves(they do not offer them to the people actually working in the cold all shift). You are given a 15 minute break after being there 3 hours which is pretty long if your feet and hands start to go numb after 2 hours. Your feet will not warm up completely during this time. Staff routinely take their boots off on break to warm up. You get a lunch 5 hours in or later and no more breaks after that. They intentionally locate the time clock in the production area to steal time from the employees breaks. The production area and the break-room/entrance are not close at all. Management literally does nothing but walk around looking for 5 minutes and then walk back to their warm offices. Management seems to not know what they are doing at all. They do not even tell you their titles and what their role is with the company. They only come into the production area on average 5 minutes at a time, rest of the time they are eating in their warm office. You will literally be a tool for them to get work done. Turnover rate here is extremely high.

Pros

Corporate culture attempts to use latest management tools to enhance work place performance.

Cons

- hourly employees have very poor health insurance program - turnover for hourly employees is very high, hence constant training of new personnel - salary and hourly rates are not competitive within the industry - general treatment of hourly/non-American workers is poor, at best - degree higher education is not recognized
