Pros

I worked here as a temp for 7 months in the collections dept. This was a contract position and if I hadn't relocated to Florida I'm sure they would have hired me in. They were very good in the training dept. and excellent on the wages. They had meetings continously to discuss problem areas and gave employees incentives. I would apply there again if I moved back to the area.

Cons

People in the collections dept. had to work evenings. I guess they needed someone to as we did business in other time zones.

Great training. You meet pivotal people from throughout the company, who are kind, courteous, and informative. Really, everybody. Heads of personell and security, as well as other department heads, as well as Tony Budet. The work environment is professional; if you ever need anything in regards to your position, asking is encouraged. From the people they hire to the tactics thy employ, UFCU is committed to providing a friendly, knowledgable experience for their employees and customers.

Cons

The branch manager at my location was a high power, high pressure woman who spoke down at times, as if though she wanted to do our jobs for us.

Your co-workers are great and their dedication to the customers is inspiring. Good place if you need a stable job to provide for your family. Benefits better than average. They will hire on attitude and not experience. Lots of company and team events and activities.

Cons

Strong on favoritism, light on opportunities for growth or advancement. Conservative management. Lower than average pay for most positions.
