Pros
I don’t have experience at other hospitals but based on what I’ve heard, this one is very good to its employees and the teamwork here is great. It’s a teaching hospital so a great place if you want to grow in your career surrounded by likeminded individuals.
Cons
The hospital is huge. I work in the float pool so it can be stressful knowing i could end up on any of our several floors but I’m getting used to it. I also think PCTs are just very underpaid in general so it makes life hard in this economy.
