      Great pay, but not full time

      Pros

      Hourly pay is great, you work school hours, normally around 7.5 hours a day. Easy enough job, teaching elementary is fairly simple, minus the behavioral issues. Support staff is great, will get you what you need and always available to help. Will help you become certified in teaching.

      Cons

      Part time, no benefits. No pay over breaks (summer, winter and spring). Depending on the school, it may be more or less stressful due to the behavior of students. Few opportunities to move up, they hire a TON of people. You need an additional job over breaks in order to make a good amount to live off of.
