Pros

Friendly coworkers. Good work environment and good benefits like life insurance and tuition.

Cons

Despotic and nepotistic management. Demands insane amount of time and dedication. Difficult to growth if you are no close friend with high level managers which makes Univision surprisingly discriminatory. Constant lay offs and renovation. Most of the coworkers complain about the same.

Pros

With the exception of the leadership, the people are very nice and collaborative.

Cons

What a disaster of a leadership team. This week's Townhall meeting screamed "we don't care about employees!", by mandating a return to the office 5 days/week and giving everyone a week's notice. The CEO threatened layoffs, followed by HR saying that he gets hundreds of resumes of people wanting to work at Univision and are willing to take a pay cut! What a circus! Despite 2 years of record sales, no pay raises and unattainable targets set for 2022. Clearly, this is not a company that values employees.

Pros

Some nice people who are very dedicated to keeping Spanish language television relevant. I am writing more now since I need to make it 20 words.

Cons

Where do I start? The guy who destroyed AOL (Bebo anyone?) has been running Univision for about 8 yrs and somehow the start of the decline coincides with him taking over. Hmmmmm. The CMO is too blinded by her love of the network she watched as a child to make well-informed and strategic decisions. She needs to admit there is a big content problem and not think everything is "great". Benefits are ridiculously expensive. Low morale, poisonous atmosphere. Everyone is miserable because the place is in a freefall. Few people have experience outside of Univision, there is a lack of understanding of how the rest of the Media business is run. Very shallow experience pool.
