Do. Not. Work. Here.

Pros

Remote work Unlimited PTO Solid healthcare coverage

Cons

All the recent negative reviews tell the story best: this place is a nightmare. Although I enjoyed the client relationships, the work environment was toxic, stressful and unsupportive. Higher-ups steamrolled the content department and destroyed all sense of moral and culture. Leadership is not open to feedback of any kind — unless you drink the juice, sell your soul and leave a positive review on Glassdoor. Do those things and you’ll receive a promotion over more deserving, long-standing employees! This company has taken an extreme toll on my mental and physical health. Do. Not. Apply.

Watch out for the reputation management reviews

Pros

Remote work and unlimited PTO

Cons

Where to begin? So much of this company is primed to snap at any moment. Looks like, post-layoff, there’s a reputation management campaign being used by upper management, including those here on Glassdoor (the exact folks previous low reviews criticized). Be wary of the high reviews and take everything into consideration. (btw saying things might be better solved with more draconian measures? yikes no matter the context)

Leadership & Private Equity Create Toxic Work Culture

Pros

The basics of a full-time job -- decent benefits for healthcare and retirement investing.

Cons

Where do we even start? In no particular order, this company sacked an employee who was 8 months pregnant at the time for no reason. A couple rounds of layoffs really tanked team member morale. There were whispers all over the place about bullying and retaliation from the top brass, sexual harassment investigations, silencing whistleblowers, and lawsuits thrown at former employees after they were laid off. The HR department was a revolving door, which made it worse. All of this piled up to create a fear-based culture that had everyone holding their breath and looking over their shoulder.
