Pros

M-F, holidays off If you are a young, white, male, this is your company. You will be promoted within a year and before anyone else.

Cons

For the first year you're considered a trainee. They don't tell you this until you actually start work. The salary listed for this position was something like $32,000 - $40,000. Two weeks into my training I was told that I was going to be held at a trainee salary of $9.50 per hour for a full year. With loans from my masters degree as well as regular monthly bills, I never would have accepted this position if they had been honest with me. This is also a high pressure production role with often unattainable month end deadlines. You type at conversation speed for 8-9 hours per day. Expect at least 10 hour days. If you are under the age of 25 they offer development opportunities. They will be very honest that if you are older, these opportunities are not available to you. The same exact claims that could not be approved are suddenly subject to approval at the end of the month. No changes necessary. Anyone above "Director" level (low level management in any other company) have absolutely no clue how this job is done. They certainly complain about time constraints of which they have no knowledge. Constant pressure to add your personal time charity work for their annual best to work for review. Though any time utilized for community service is expected to be made up in what would have been overtime.
