      Pros

      Decent pay-Lateral opportunities abound but may not come with an increase in pay. Good exposure to corporate work environment. Great life learning.

      Cons

      ReOrgs: might be working for a different manager depending on the direction of the wind. Happened to me on a couple of occasions. I methodically researched job choices within the organization and made well thought out decision with regards to managers and two weeks later I was working for someone I would have never chosen to work for. Basically your career is out of your hands. There are hundreds of managers and of course there will be some duds but some of the duds are sociopaths. And history has brought to light some unscrupulous business practices. Keep your head on a swivel.

      They care more about their facilities than their Employees well being

      Pros

      The offices are really nice.

      Cons

      They don't care about their employees. Poor management. Rarely support full time remote. Require employees to come into office even though sales and customer satisfaction was at an all time high when the employees were full time work at home. The pay isn't competitive. HR is a joke and they don't know what they are doing. Poor staffing, the majority of the benefits department is underpaid and overworked.

      Unhealthy mindset/enviornment Very alienating Poor physical work environment - very open, very noisy Poor room for advancement Regular reorgs/layoffs Uninspiring financial status - stock has barely moved in 15 years Out of date technology Lack of trust Lack of communication Lack of training Beuraucracy
