Pros

The food and some of the people are good. The students are great. Health insurance is pretty decent, too.

Cons

Pay. We are not treated like valued members of a team and are expected to do more with less. This institution will most likely close by 2030 or sooner. Somehow, adding more students will fix our financial woes, but we do not currently have the infrastructure to handle more than 600 students, while the goal is to get to at least 800 on the Fayette campus.

Dedicated staff and faculty, beautiful campus

Cons

The administration shows little interest in academics, especially at the presidential level. VPs and the president won't listen to the concerns of faculty. The Board of Trustees are even more deaf to the needs of the faculty and staff. Those who care the most are stigmatized the most. The current president was the very CFO who drove the university into the ground through fiscal mismanagement. Her reward from the Board of Trustee's was retention of her VP role of Finance and Enrollment Mangement AND promotion to President!!
