If in Anesthesia you get cake on your birthday. If you stay extra hours you can get out early in the summer time. Free parking.
Cons
-did not train me - gave me some numbers to call if I ran into problems -denied me raises, promotions, training, and self representation in meetings on my own work even though I took on massive amounts of work. -no annual reviews so you won't have a proper chance to negotiate your wage -if you have medical issues, every specialist visit is $50 - Rx aren't well covered. Pay is low and you will feel the pinch -attendings are poorly behaved and management brushes off their bad behavior. -you cannot contact your HR about other employees because everyone is paid by different companies even if you work with them every day -no help for mental health, management can't identify burn out in their employees - Management hovers, micromanages and scapegoats This is a toxic work environment. I'm in therapy and medicated after working here. I'm not exaggerating.
