Pros

- Mission driven. You'll interact with inspiring school administrators and diverse students to make a positive impact. - No "red tape." In true startup fashion. As long as your work/idea has positive impact, there's rarely naysaying. - Central location.

Cons

- Inexperienced management. In most departments, the new hires' knowledge, experience, and passion outweighs that of the person they're expected to work for. - Product is underdeveloped. - Relentless, outdated sales and marketing tactics. (Cold calling all day every day.) - Low salary for tech.

Pros

Working for this company helps you understand that capitalism is a real-life nightmare and a death sentence for roughly 90% of the population.

Cons

Do you like ruining your own life in order to make repellent do-nothing capitalist oligarchs even richer ? If so, you'll ABSOLUTELY LOVE working at Upswing
