Pros

Flexible PTO. Remains to be seen how they actually view this and if they actually mean it to be flexible for employees. Meaningful and interesting work to be done.

Cons

IT is holding back engineering. Constant problems. They are not familiar with how their changes impact engineering. Understaffed. No corporate culture. Depends on what program you get placed on. No affinity groups. Their flex time policy is pretty useless. You must abide by the pay period boundaries. Life doesn't respect those. Company continues to talk about how they value training and continued education ... But then they didn't fund it. They don't pay you to take all the training. They had ESG goals and a report. But we've seen no action. Barely ever see or talk to managers. But you get your yearly review from them. They have them overworked doing both program and people things. People things get left behind. You won't be making as much as you could elsewhere.

Pros

Benefits are decent and there are some good people.

Cons

I’ve worked in many places, but this is the most toxic and dysfunctional environment I’ve ever encountered—and it all starts at the top. Management weaponizes the 90-day probationary period, using it to intimidate, control, and weed out anyone who won’t toe the line. Performance means nothing—what matters is submission. I was promised “low turnover” in my interview. The reality? It’s a revolving door, and leadership is in total denial about why. Instead of addressing real issues, they play ego games and create drama. Any attempt to solve problems or think independently is treated as insubordination. The place is dominated by military lifers who import all the worst traits from that world—cliques, blind loyalty, toxic rankism, authoritarianism, and an obsession with hierarchy. Merit and real leadership are nowhere to be found. During my time, managers would schedule constant surprise meetings to ‘address concerns’—but these were just thinly veiled attempts at intimidation. Constructive feedback was met with hostility, and any sign of independent thinking was treated as a threat. The work is bland, boring, and uninspired. If you want to actually build a career or enjoy your job, keep looking. There’s a reason people don’t last here. The turnover rate isn’t a fluke—it’s a symptom. Don’t ignore the warning signs. There are better places to work.
