Good company that tries to do what is right

Pros

VACCO cares about its employees and customers. While no company is perfect, people seem to try to the right things, the right way with the right attitude. We work on exciting programs from submarines to rockets and spaceships which makes the job interesting and rewarding. There is still a sense of a family feel here. People seems to enjoy having every Friday off. Sometimes weekend work is needed but it is better to work an occasional Friday or Saturday than Saturday and Sunday.

Cons

Most of the issues here are standard problems that are found at any company.

I enjoy working at VACCO. The opportunities to learn have given me knowledge and experience to grow in my career. I appreciate being treated right and knowing where to go if I have something to say.
