Pros

Generally good people at working levels.

Cons

Poor upper and executive management. Lots of bad business decisions leading to loss of contracts. Executives are just worried about meeting their numbers to get their bonuses. Uneven distribution of work. Some people working long hours and handling many responsibilities while others barely put in their time and are standing around and socializing when they do. Lots of favoritism. Many of the problem managers are protected and shifted around while good workers are unappreciated and unrecognized. Poor morale and outlook.

Pros

4 day work week, diverse workforce

Cons

Systemic problems exist. Management cares about sales numbers rather than meeting commitments. Low pay and limited benefits for the industry.

Pros

A good variety of products to work on. 4/10 work schedule. They give you a turkey at Christmas. There are some very nice people there. That's about all I can say positive.

Cons

Poor pay for the complexity of work. The wages are far below industry standard. I got literally tricked by the employment agency as to what my pay would be. I turned down 7 other offers . When I made permanent, VACCO refused a raise. I stayed on a few more years and got 3% each year. Which I'm sure is the most they give out. Old, outdated equipment and employees. A lot of old dudes who sleep (yes, you read that correctly) all week in order to come in for OT Fri-Sat. If you're young and motivated, expect to outpace everyone there. You wont get compensated, you'll just run out of work, as planning is established around lazy employees. Highly beauracratic processes. They will continue to struggle with a part that is known to be difficult to manufacture, rather than submit a drawing change to the customer. Definitely an old-guard contract driven company. Terrible watered down coffee that you have to pay for.
