They give you a pay check

Cons

Terrible company to work for. Management lacks professionalism. Lots of design dont work, program is inept with dealing with the customer and acts like coordinators on the production floor. The facility is "AS9100" certified but is definitely not AS9100. Lots of their equipment lack control, lots of parts go missing as people take them home. Their Designs dont work and lack design for manufacturing making it very frustrating when the manufacturing team works weekends to get something to work that is not meant to be. On top of that, they cant change their designs because they micky moused them during qualification and already signed up w/ them with the customer

Executives are running this company into the ground

Pros

4 day work week is the only redeeming quality at Vacco... except about 90% of the time, upper management is demanding you come in on Fridays the employees are great people

Cons

basically the entirety of upper management was replaced right before / during the pandemic, and they have absolutely no idea what they're doing a lot of younger and/or talented individuals are quickly realizing they aren't valued at all and are leaving in droves

Pros

Executive Leadership is finally making changes to fix engineering from the previous VP of engineering of bad leadership practices. Engineering is hopeful the environment will be much more positive and encouraging for future engineers to come work at Vacco.

Cons

Engineering is getting fixed but quality and space operations continues to be unmotivating with employees.
