      Pros

      The energy, excitement, product offerings are unrivaled. VAST is still a relatively small company but growing fast with a start-up feel. It has clearly and quickly become home to the industry's most talented individuals at all levels. The organization is very flat from a hierarchical standpoint, with access to anyone at any level at any time. Hard work and team work are synonymous at VAST, which lays the foundation for a contagious camaraderie.

      Cons

      As a young company, there isn't any room to hide. Hard work is expected, but it is rewarded and appreciated. The stakes are high, creating a thriving environment for folks who are prepared to go the extra mile. Changing an industry is hard. It's not for the feint of heart.

      Pros

      * Absolutely Best Company in the Data/Storage space. * Visionary and customer-centric senior leadership. * Differentiated platform and radical roadmap. * Audacious and Over-achieving. * I think that we actually care about each other.

      Cons

      * Runs lean, sometimes too lean, as we scale faster than any previous data infrastructure company. * The focus on hiring only the best talent does mean that some positions sit open for a bit too long. * Less on-boarding support and training than one would expect for a company of this size (but not necessarily of this age). * The work can be all consuming if you want it to be, so self-care is important (and is generally supported).

      The people at VAST Data value everyones opinion. Every human has a voice which is incredibly important in organizations that are growing.

      Cons

      Some positions require travel which could be condsidered a con to some. I am looking forward to our next trip!
