AWFUL place to work at

Pros

Job lets you work full remote

Cons

They treat great employees terribly. Money is always the subject of discussion regardless of your level. They don’t care to resolve any issues an employee has with the org. Plenty of hoops to jump through to have the possibility of promotion.

Pros

You get a paycheck every 2 weeks.

Cons

Everything is metric driven, clients are unhappy and leaving, employees are unhappy and leaving. Managers can't tell you how some of the metrics are measured. Anyone who is happy here is either management and so far disconnected from what is happening on a daily basis or is drinking that company kool-aid. They are able to find new clients to replace the ones that left, but eventually new clients will run out. If a higher position on your team opens up, they either give some excuse of not backfilling or the position is not needed or have to justify the position is needed in order to backfill. Then they will try to do an outside hire or hire from outside the team from another team. No room for advancement. Participation trophy 3% raise every year, so performance doesn't matter. No bonuses, no raises, just the 3% raise while inflation is higher. Pay bands they claim are with in industry ranges however they haven't adjust them since 5 years ago. Also if pay bands are within range, how is it that everyone is leaving for higher pay? They are able to replace senior level engineers with someone unqualified for lower pay and it shows. Their biggest Canadian client left and they held onto most of those Canadian employees to lay off US employees and backfill roles with Canadian employees. Laid people off just a few weeks before Christmas.

Pros

VC3 is in an exciting stage of growth, and you really feel it day to day, in a good way. The company is intentional about improving how we serve clients and how we support employees, and that focus shows in the investments being made across teams, processes, and leadership structure. There’s a strong emphasis on metrics, which some people may see as intense, but I see it as a positive. VC3 uses data to help us understand where we are, where we need to go, and how we can continuously raise the bar. It’s motivating to work in an environment that wants to win the right way, through clarity, accountability, and consistent improvement. The people here care deeply about our clients and about each other. Collaboration is encouraged, hard work is recognized, and there’s a shared drive to deliver quality at scale. For those who enjoy ownership, problem-solving, and being part of a company that’s genuinely evolving, VC3 provides plenty of opportunity.

Cons

Change is not bad. With growth comes change, and sometimes that means adjusting to new processes or shifting priorities. Not everything is perfect yet, and there’s always room for improvement, but the direction and intent are strong.
