Room to grow

Pros

From the moment I started at VC3, you could immediately feel that they genuinely wanted to help you grow. There's so much to learn here, especially if you're open to picking up new skills, from technical work all the way to client handling. The leaders here are approachable, not the "untouchable" type, so even as a new hire, you're not afraid to ask questions. The training is honestly comprehensive, you never feel like you're just thrown in and left to figure things out on your own.

Cons

No cons for now, just the positive parts.

Pros

VC3 is a large company but it still has the feel of a smaller local MSP. The collaborative mindset of the people that work here make it really easy for anyone to succeed even while dealing with complex situations. Growth is not only supported but also encouraged, VC3 provides several avenues to help people grow within their department or other departments, they provide specialized leadership training as well as shadowing opportunities to help individuals learn about other skills and pursuit other careers. VC3 is also one of the few companies that allow full remote work. Forget about long commutes and not seeing your family for 8+ hours a day, but if you prefer to be in person; there are offices across North America where you can connect with your colleagues face-to-face.

Cons

Some of your colleagues may live far from your location and meeting them virtually is the only option, also teams meeting are almost all exclusively over video VC3 is growing very fast and the amount of change happening can be difficult for some individuals to adapt to

Pros

It has been my experience at VC3 that employees are treated like real human being with a life outside of work. There are many opportunities for professional development; training meeting, internal job fairs, and leadership programs just to name a few

Cons

We are an established company but we are growing thru major growth right now that tends to bring alot of quick changes and some lack of clarity.

Pros

Strong Team Collaboration: The team is highly supportive, with a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and teamwork. Opportunities for Growth: There are opportunities for professional development through certifications, training, and skill-building projects. Flexible Work Environment: The remote work model provides a good work-life balance, allowing flexibility to work from home or the office if you're near one. Leadership Support: Management is approachable and actively supports career growth and personal development. Focus on Process Improvement: A strong emphasis on continuous improvement ensures the team is always evolving and enhancing efficiency. Client-Centric Approach: The organization prioritizes delivering excellent service and building strong relationships with clients. Access to Cutting-Edge Tools: The company invests in modern tools to streamline work processes. Commitment to Core Values: The culture is rooted in core values that promote teamwork, accountability, and serving clients effectively. Recognition and Appreciation: Hard work and achievements are recognized and appreciated, fostering motivation and morale. Engaging Company Culture: Regular events, such as team huddles and virtual gatherings, help maintain team engagement and a sense of community.

Cons

Compensation Could Be More Competitive: Pay may not be on par with industry standards, though they say that they researched it and it is. I think this prompts some employees to seek better opportunities elsewhere. Shift in Strategic Direction: The company's recent focus on offshoring has raised my concerns about maintaining service quality and effective team collaboration. Limited Input on Strategic Decisions: Employees may feel that their voices are not adequately considered in decisions that significantly impact team dynamics and job roles. Evolving Company Culture: As the organization grows and shifts direction, some employees may feel a loss of the close-knit, collaborative culture that initially drew them to the company. Unfinished Integration After Acquisitions: The company frequently acquires new businesses but struggles to fully integrate them before moving on to the next acquisition, creating inefficiencies and a lack of cohesion across teams. Growing Pains: The company’s rapid growth and expansion can feel disorganized, akin to "a giant baby stumbling around," which impacts both team alignment and operational consistency.
