You get to know your coworker pretty well. Ive had some great managers over the years.

Cons

The pay is low and they make it hard to get a raise unless you tell them you're quitting.

Good location and easy to commute to

Cons

Refuses to hire adequate staff but won’t reduce caseload. Claims there is no money in the budget for raises, hospital equipment, or staff safety. Management doesn’t listen to staff concerns. Clients are rude and the solution is to give everyone who complains a massive discount.

-Benefits -May luck out and get a cool DVM to work with -Small chance of moving up in company -Good discounts on pet care

Cons

-Rude clients -Work with DVMs that are arrogant and condescending -Regional directors don't seem to support your hospital managers (even though they say they do)
