Lots of Room for Growth

The hospital I worked at was a teaching and flag hospital, therefore, it was great about cross training employees and working on personal goals as a tech. It's also one of the largest VCA hospitals in California next to VCA Loomis and VCA headquarters in Los Angeles. They offer a lot of overtime incentives in addition to overtime pay and quarterly raises.

Cons

I've been told they underpay techs compared to other private practices. Ask for more money when hired that way when they counter with an offer lower than your asking price you will receive an amount higher than anticipated and paid from the beginning.
