Pros

Was filled with mentors that were supportive and patient and truly helped you grow professionally.

Cons

Building was a little old and didn't have a lot of space in the back. Did not pay well, but they made up for it with the team at the time.

Pros

Doctors are very caring, they want to do what's best for their patients. They do pay well, though this was not the case when I first started. Depending on the department there are no weekends and holidays (though ER is 24/7 365 days a week)

Cons

Work/life balance pretty much doesn't exist. Over time is frequent and when you don't want to volunteer for certain tasks guilt trips are used.
