Pros

The animals are great. Sometimes the staff are nice.

Cons

Worked there for a year at $16/hr and got no raise at all. The expectations are constantly changing and getting higher and higher but the pay always remained the same. Staff treat each other terribly. Vet was very demanding and rude and would often cause trouble for other people based off assumptions, without even asking questions first. Just don't.

Pros

Discount is decent, 401k matching is good

Cons

Rarely get lunches, skeleton crew, management doesn’t care that the turnover rate is so high and they are losing all experiences techs and stuck with inadequate staff and patient care suffers. Staff just get a generic email that wishes whoever quit the best in our future endeavors. Even after years with the company. The 4 pet limit for discounts is ridiculous. Scheduling is not conducive to living a normal life, especially if you work overnights as they come last in all aspects.

Pros

Good employee discount No micromanaging

Cons

Gossiping/Harassment amongst the Techs, DVMs and Management. When issues are brought to higher ups, nothing is ever done. Nobody ever gets fired no matter how large the issue. There is absolutely NO SUPPORT in any role. It didn’t matter the experience of the DVM or the quality of medicine they were providing as long as they were a body in the hospital to charge clients. Had to see many pets euthanized over “all or nothing” estimates provided. You are just another warm body with this company they do not care.
