Sacramento, CA, VCA region is HORRIBLE to work for. Management is incompetent and completely unprofessional, starting with regional management on down. Employees generally underpaid except for select few who are favorites. They care only about money, and not at all about employees who are backbone of hospital. Techs are disposable, even if you have years of experience and great skills and employment history, they will happily replace you with someone they can pay less. CE allowance for techs is a joke, they come up with every excuse not to give it to you. Gossip and unprofessional behavior is rampant at all levels, no one is ever held accountable for their actions, even doctors who are verbally abusive to staff and create a hostile work environment.

High school drama with the doctors. Insurance sucks especially after the doctors get it for free and the staff has to pay for it. Up sale every thing. Out for the money not for the pet.
