      Everything else unfortunately except staff training.

      If you file an Eeoc complaint get ready to be fired

      Pros

      I used to like/love it here. When vca took over in 2019 they fired two vets (one who owned the practice and built it from the ground up). Vca took over and fired two more of us. The smart ones left during the mass exodus in 2019.

      Cons

      I filed an Eeoc complaint and I was harassed for the next 6-8 months until they found an excuse to fire me. They were looking for an excuse to fire me. They knew they were going to fire me last week but kept me on another two weeks only to fire me at the end of the day on Friday. They did not give me an option to resign. I would urge no one to work here and do not file an Eeoc complaint or you will be fired.

      Pros

      While being corporate, we are able to retain what makes us 'us'. Our regional leadership is great. We can afford new tech that we may not be able to afford if we were independent.

      Cons

      I don't agree with everything VCA does as a company, but to be honest, I am not sure what I would do differently. The industry is difficult, especially post pandemic.
