Fairly good benefits (health-wise) You are encouraged to utilize their corporate scholarships

We are discouraged from doing overtime; our supervisors are told to keep an eye on our time clocks. I have three different apps involved with this place; one for my clock-in, one for my scheduling, and one for my paystubs. Can you get one and be done? VCA has an internal/company-made grading scale to rate employees - patient care attendant, veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, etc. Some of these have levels. Do not be fooled by the job offers; they will relabel you internally and it will oy confuse what you are. Management is not on the ball.

Free employee pet boarding and free care club plans for your own pets

Cons

Management was highly unprofessional. Hours were annoying. Pay was probably the worst part. Always short staffed. Catered way too much to the pet parents instead of the staff so they often came in very entitled and wanting discounts.
