Pros

The only "good" thing would possibly be the discounts offered to employees for their pets

Cons

Hiking prices of care, to the point no one can afford a simple wellness visit. Extremely low pay, with no raises. High turnover rate due to awful management and lead LVTs attitude

Pros

Access to specialists, modern equipment for advanced imaging and in-house diagnostics, ANTECH connections, good benefits

Cons

Company-wide pricing increases (US and Canada) made most services prohibitively expensive for our clients. Predictably, profit principle drives business/administrative decisions more than appropriate/accessible medical care. Poor pay for support staff considering company's profits. At-will on-call status for technicians due to VCA's unwillingness to pay for days on call but rather only time spent in hospital while on call results in unpredictable emergency/overnight call availability for surgical staff.
