      Pros

      The health and PTO benefits are way better than private practice. The animal benefits, in my experience are way better in private practice.

      Cons

      Low(ish) pay for industry. Most hires come with little or no experience. All young employees, no maturity.

      Veterinary Technician

      Pros

      Worked as an emergency Vet tech, placed IVCs on emergency patients as well as euthanasia patients. I have taken on patients and talked to owners about the patients history.

      Cons

      Toxic environment and management. Have reached out multiple times but nothing changed it became better.
